Biography

The dirtyoldDisco was formed in late 2009 and consists of Rick Disco and dirtyoldman. The two have been working together since 2005, running the South African electronic music blog electrotrash.co.za

After having spent the last few years playing the odd gig as solo DJ's they decided to combine forces and to destroy dancefloors along the way. Although they have only been playing for a short while, the dirtyoldDisco has already been spotted dropping electro bangers at various parties and venues around Johannesburg and Pretoria, playing at the jozi leg of the Toxic Avenger tour being just one highlight. With 2009 being a taster for the boys of the dirtyoldDisco, 2010 is sure to see the emergence of the dirtyoldDisco as a force to be reckoned with on the local electro scene.
